About Me

Hi, I'm Jon. As you might have guessed, I have a passion for math, science, and various technical topics.

Within these fields, I have a special interest in applied math, physics, robotics, and dynamic system control. The practical applications of math and physics are both remarkable and beautiful. And as for robots—they're fascinating, complex, multi-disciplinary marvels that never cease to amaze me.

My Goal

It's common for students to dislike and become frustrated with math and science. These subjects are often seen as some of the most demanding and complex, and if not explained well, they can feel that way. But it doesn't have to be like this. Imagine, for a moment, that these subjects weren’t so daunting—concepts made sense, homework didn’t take hours, and exams felt manageable. That’s where I come in.

I work with each student individually, tailoring sessions to maximize learning and understanding. I recognize the difficulties because, at some point, I’ve had the same questions. I explain topics in a way I wish my instructors had when I was learning—hopefully saving you countless hours of time and frustration.

Location & Service Area

I offer sessions in the southwest metro area, including in-home, at libraries, schools, coffee shops, and more. A travel fee may apply. Remote/online sessions are also available.

Jon
